Born in Greenville, North Carolina deep in the South, Card Crenshaw grew up hearing Gospel, Soul and Country music on the radio. Thus, this is his foundation. While active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Crenshaw wrote many songs about his travels around the world. After retiring from the Air Force, Crenshaw set out to make music as a hobby. For the upcoming EP, titled ‘No Time For Haters’ Crenshaw did all of the writing, producing, and recording, with a few vocal collaborations from a couple of his military buddies. The EP sticks to Crenshaw's maverick personality.   — the EP is “about living life to the fullest, love of his country, and relationships" according to its press release.

Speaking about the themes on the 'No Time For Haters’  EP, Crenshaw explained that he set out to do music that he loves, with no boundaries and no apologies. He dubbed his style of music as Country Soul. Crenshaw stated that he created from the heart and drew upon his own love of the Hip Hop, Country and Gospel  music genres. On the journey, he blazed his own trail. Crenshaw's first single from the upcoming EP is titled 'Kick'n Up Dust.' It speaks to his love for pick-up trucks, and off-roading.
